Meet the Team

With over 20 years of experience navigating the complex landscape of education, health, and social care systems, we bring deep knowledge and fierce advocacy to every case we support.

We understand how overwhelming the EHCP process can feel — especially when families are already stretched thin. Our mission is to make it less bureaucratic, more human, and always focused on what matters: the child.

From navigating policies to challenging decisions, we stand beside families to ensure their children get the support they are legally entitled to — and morally deserve.

Advocates for Inclusion was born from lived experience, deep frustration with broken systems, and an unshakeable belief that neurodivergent people deserve better—more understanding, more support, and more dignity.

Parent seeking guidance for SEND advocacy and EHCP support

  • Founder

Rebecca is a mother of neurodivergent children. For over 21 years, she has been a relentless advocate—not just for her own children, but for many others navigating the same uphill battles.

Her journey began at a time when neurodivergence—particularly in girls—was heavily misunderstood, often missed, and too easily written off. Rebecca’s lived experience has shaped her into a fierce, knowledgeable, and compassionate voice for families lost in the maze of education, healthcare, and social systems.

She continues to show up, speak up, and fight for what’s right—because every child deserves to be understood and supported.

Parent receiving support with DLA and EHCP application process

  • Founder

Joanna has lived with neurodivergence her whole life, learning to navigate a world that wasn’t built with her in mind. Growing up in a time when neurodivergence was rarely recognised—let alone supported—meant developing her own ways of coping, masking, and surviving.

Now, as a parent of neurodivergent children herself, Joanna brings a dual perspective: that of someone who’s walked the path personally, and someone supporting others along the way.

With a background in project management, she blends real-world experience with practical solutions—always with empathy at the core. Joanna is passionate about helping families feel seen, heard, and empowered—not judged or dismissed.
